South Sumter High
Where Tradition Meets Excellence
SENIORS: Seniors should report to the gym at 6:00 PM. wearing their cap & gown. Please do not arrive prior to 6:00 PM. Seniors cannot leave anything in the gym so arrange to have car keys, cell phones, etc. left with a parent or friend! PARENTS: PARKING LOTS will open around 5:30 PM. STADIUM GATES WILL OPEN AT 6:00 PM. Access to the football field seating will close at 7:20 PM. NO ONE arriving after 7:20 PM will be allowed on the field, but will be directed to the stadium seating area.
Each graduate will receive 4 tickets for field seating. Even children and babies will need a ticket. We remind everyone that for many of our seniors, this will be the most important night of their life and the ONLY time they will receive their high school diploma and hear their name called out in front of thousands of people.
We do not have any extra tickets; nor can extras be purchased, but you may network with other graduates if you need more tickets. There will be a livestream reviewing linked shared before the ceremony and in the program for any friend or family that cannot attend in person.
